We started the season with more/new transmission problems (different problems), so the SpringNats, SummeerNats and HellRace did not bring us any glory. When we attended Orsa Bike Week these problems were solved. We made 6 qualification runs, with improving results - we were eliminated in the semi finals.
Next race at Veidec Festival, Mantorp we run a new PB 9,05sek and ended at 5th qualifier - the eliminations were called off due to rain.
Off to Sunoco Drag Challenge at our home track Gardermoen Raceway.
After a rainy start friday, we woke up to a sunny saturday. The track crew as always did an excellent job.
Lots of spectators in grandstands and in the pits.
We made 5 qualifying runs and ended up as 1st qualifier, and a new personal best:
60' - 1.01sek ( yes, its true ! )
1/8 ET - 5,40sek
1/4 ET - 8,801sek
1/4 Speed - 237kmh
We are happy to finally see the 8-sek., but the 1/8 ET tells us that we loose power the last 1/8 mile.
We have a bye-run i semi and meet up with Dag Wagenius in the finals - and Dag takes the win.
We are satisfied with our new PB and our first Runner-Up Trophy.
Next (and last) event this year is Street Finals 4.-5. september at Gardermoen Raceway - this is the finals for the national championship (NM) and the NDRG-cup.
We are currently #7 in NM Gr.2 and #2 in NDRG-cup for ET Pro Bike.
